Gasoline barge prices rose over 15/mt Monday predominately on the back of a rise in crude values, traders said.European gasoline remained oversup-plied, however, as lackluster demand failed to offer any support."West African demand is completely dead and there is still lots of Naphtha around; it's quite depressing really," one trader said. Traders breathed a brief sigh of relief Monday as the strikes at the Mediterranean port of Fos and Lavera ended. Gasoline traders have looked to Italian refineries to source alternate material amidst the strike disruptions, market sources said Monday.
