IEA raises demand forecast,call on OPEC

London-The International Energy Agency February 13 raised its forecasts for world oil demand and the "call" on OPEC crude this year,and urged OPEC not to go too far in its moves to cut output amid signs of tightening in the oil market.The IEA amended its "call" on OPEC for 2007 to 30.6 million b/d,more than the group is currently pumping,and said the producers should be careful not to over-tighten supply as they look to implement an output cut of 500,000 b/d from the start of this month.
