International crude:North Sea attains new heights

The Dated Brent/BFOE assessment hit a new record high Friday at 81.095/barrel as a mixture of a weak US dollar,fresh violence in Nigeria and end-of-quarter volatility pushed the underlying crude complex higher.The strength in the complex further coincided with news that European buyers of Iranian crude had been facing difficulties raising letters of credit from French banks.
