Shells signs peace memorandum with Niger Delta communities

London-Shell has signed a memorandum of understanding with local communities in the Niger Delta that will see the company contribute to development projects in the area,a Shell spokeswoman said Thursday,a move which could bring a restart of its shut-in oil production closer.
