International crude: Marseille strike prompts strong demand

Demand for products was reported as fairly strong in the Mediterranean,a result of uncertainty over the output of French refineries affected by the Marseille port workers strike,which entered its third week.Siberian Light moved higher Thursday,supported by continuing demand in the Mediterranean as refiners used the grade as a substitute to high Urals differentials.Earlier in the week,Siberian Light was reported offered as high as Dated Brent minus 60 cents/barrel.One source reported the market now around Dated Brent minus l/barrel,but no specific trades were reported.
