Washington-While ExxonMobil said its production levels in Chad were normal during a rebel coup attempt April 13,output remains under threat of shutdown by the government if royalties are not paid.ExxonMobil leads a consortium developing Chad's 170,000 b/d Doba fields with a 40% stake,along with partners Malaysia's Petronas,35%,and ChevronTexaco,25%.The project includes construction of a 650-mile pipeline from landlocked Chad to oil export markets in Cameroon.
