Global crude supply to outpace demand in 2006,says EIA

Washington-Average total world oil production should exceed projected demand of 85.2 million b/d by about 100,000 b/d for all of 2006,the US Energy Information Administration said April 11.EIA is projecting a 100,000 b/d decrease to 20.8 million b/d in second quarter US oil demand,compared with its March forecast.For the year,the US demand is forecast to average 20.9 million b/d,unchanged from the March estimate.Last year,US demand was 20.7 million b/d.
