Praxair shuts hydrogen unit at Port Arthur

Industrial gases company Praxair has taken down a steam methane reformer,used to produce hydrogen,at Motiva Enterprise's 245,000 b/d Port Arthur,Texas,refinery for nine days of maintenance,a Praxair spokeswoman said Wednesday.The reformer was taken down Feb 4 and is to come back online on Feb 12,said the spokeswoman,at Praxair's Danbury,Connecticut,headquarters.
