Valero refinery operations normal after storm

Independent refiner Valero Monday said thunderstorms and severe lightning late Apr 4 near Three Rivers,Texas,where it has a 97,000 b/d refinery briefly shut down pumps in the vacuum unit.Following a restoration of power at about 2:30 a.m.CDT Apr 5,operations returned to normal,Valero said.
