Americas crude: Canadian heavies weaken

Canadian heavy crude differentials weakened again,after rebounding sharply Wednesday,following latest talk that the ExxonMobil-operated Joliet refinery in Illinois may not restart as expected by Thursday,market sources said.Sources said the major was offering more August injection Canadian heavy crudes Thursday which otherwise would have gone to Joliet,since the plant is now expected to restart this weekend.The delay was linked to additional repairs needed for cooling system,which was the cause of the plant shutdown last Saturday.
