Asian low sulfur fuel oil premiums are expected to surge as demand has increased due to ongoing problems at Tokyo Electric Power's nuclear plants, sources said Wednesday. TEPCO has not been given the green light to restart its plants, shut for emergency checks in phases since Oct 2002, and is dpeending on its LSFO-fired thermal plants to cover the shortfall in power generation.
