We estimate world production grew by 6.8% y-o-y in January. This figure, however, masks the divergence in production trends globally: primary production growth in Asia surpassed other regions in the world, with a stellar growth rate of 12.6%. China's production grew by 15.7% y-o-y in January and we are expecting additional production to come on-stream in Northwest China.
