China's NDRC Okays SK's Acquisition Of Stake in Sinopec Ethylene Project

Wuhan— China's National Development & Reform Commission (NDRC) has approved the acquisition by SK Group of a 35% interest in Sinopec's recently completed 800,000-t/y ethylene plant in Wuhan, China (PCN, 7 Jan 2013, p 1). The plant is now owned 65% by Sinopec and 35% by SK, reported Reuters citing a statement on the NDRC website.
