Kraton Has Exclusive Rights to Output From Formosa HSBC Joint Venture

Houston-Kraton Performance Polymers, in providing additional details on its hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer (HSBC) joint venture with Formosa Petrochemical Corp., said Kraton has exclusive rights to purchase all production from the plant (PCN, 4 Mar 2013, p 3). Kraton and Formosa earlier this year revived plans to form an equally-owned joint venture to build, own and operate a 30,000-t/y HSBC facility at Formosa's complex in Mailiao, Taiwan.
