PetroChina Completes Refinery Project To Feed Expanded Ethylene Facility

Daqins-Petro-China's Daqing Petrochemical Co. subsidiary has completed an expansion of its refinery in Daqing, China, which will provide feedstock for the company's recently completed ethylene plant in Daqing (PCN, 9 July 2012, p 1). The $157-million refinery project included the addition of a 6-million-t/y crude distillation unit to increase crude processing capacity to 10-million t/y.
