Asahi Kasei Building Acetonitrile Facility At Tong Suh Petrochem's Ulsan Complex

Ulsan- Asahi Kasei Chemical has finalized a plan to build a new acetonitrile plant at the Ulsan, Korea, site of Tong Suh Petrochemical Corp., an Asahi Kasei Group company.The new plant will have a capacity of 11,000 t/y of acetonitrile, which will be based on crude acetonitrile obtained as a by-product of acrylonitrile production.
