Chevron said Thursday that Ali Moshiri will step down soon as president of the company's upstream operations in Africa and Latin America as he retires after a 38-year career with the California-based oil major. Moshiri is set to retire as of Apr. 1, 2017 but he will be succeeded effective Jan. 1 by Clay Neff, 54, who is currently in charge of Chevron's upstream operations in Nigeria and West Africa.
