Oil futures settled lower on Monday as the market continued to focus on ample supplies against a backdrop of eurozone anxieties. Opec's recent decision to maintain production targets "has transformed the outlook for the second half of the year from one of potential deficit to a large ongoing surplus," according to David Hufton of PVM Brokerage.
