US minnow Resolute Energy watched its stock jump over 50% after announcing the sale of some of its midstream assets in the Permian Basin as well as strong operational results in the play during the second quarter. Resolute and a minority stakeholder are selling the gas gathering and water handling systems in the company’s Appaloosa and Mustang project areas in Reeves County to an undisclosed buyer for as much as $110 million.
