Suncor Extends Hostile Bid for Canadian Oil Sands

Suncor Energy has extended its hostile bid for Canadian Oil Sands (COS) after earlier indicating that it might simply allow its bid to expire on Friday, Dec. 4 in line with the original terms of its offer ( OD Dec.2'15 ). However, Suncor has not sweetened its all - stock offer of one of its own shares for every four COS shares, which is worth around C$4.5 billion (US$3.4 billion).
