Oil futures rose by more than $2 per barrel on Wednesday, breaking a three - session losing streak for both of the major benchmarks. Prices were supported by draws on US stocks of refined products, even though crude stocks rose for the fifth week in a row. In London, Brent crude futures settled $2.24 higher at $49.05 per barrel. In New York, the Nymex WTI crude contract gained $2.74 at $45.94.
