YPF, Dow Expand Vaca Muerta Shale Gas Deal

Argentina's state - controlled oil producer YPF and its US partner Dow Chemical have agreed to invest $500 million to ramp up development of the El Orejano block in Argentina's Vaca Muerta shale play. The deal would be the first shale gas development project in the Vaca Muerta, which is regarded as the world's most attractive shale play outside North America.
