UK-based BG may begin exploration work this week on an offshore block in Honduras' section of the Caribbean Sea. Honduras was planning to grant BG an environmental permit for exploration work in a 35,000 sq km block covering the country's Mosquitia and Patuca basins, a presidential adviser told Reuters. With that permit in hand, BG would begin exploration work immediately, a company executive told local media.
