Cabot, Sumitomo Ink 20-Year Marcellus Gas Sales Deal

Cabot Oil & Gas said it has signed a 20-year agreement to supply about 350 million cubic feet per day of natural gas from its Marcellus Shale operations in the US Northeast to a unit of Japanese trading house Sumitomo. The gas will be converted into LNG for export to Japan at Dominion Energy's Cove Point LNG terminal in Maryland on the US East Coast.
