Pioneer Reports Northern Wolfcamp Well Results

Pioneer Natural Resources said it has started production from its first horizontal well in Martin County, Texas, one of the northernmost wells to produce from the Wolfcamp Shale B interval. Pioneer's Mabee K #1H well had a 24-hour initial production (IP) rate of 1,572 boe/d (77%), which compares favorably to the IP rate of 1,693 boe/d (75%) shown in January by the company's Hutt C #1H well, which lies about 30 miles south of Mabee in Midland County.
