The pace of Russian oil production growth is slowing, but the authorities are still confident they will hike average output this year to 10.242 million barrels per day from 10.144 million b/d last year. Preliminary energy ministry data show oil and condensate production stood at 10.338 million b/d (43.72 million metric tons) in October, up 0.7% on the year and up 0.2% on the month. Output between January and October inched up 1.2% to 10.254 million b/d.
