China's largestzinc producer Zhuzhou Smelter Group has restarted production at its Zhuzhou works in central Hunan province, butsister companies Hsikwangshan Twinkling Star Antimony Co and Hunan Shizhuyuan Nonferrous Metals Co remain shut, officials from the companies said. "We have more or less resumed production. I won't say it's at full capacity now, but production has returned to around normal levels," said an official from Zhuzhou Smelter's secretariat office. Production facilities were restarted on February 6, he said. Zhuzhou Smelter has 430,000 tpy of zinc and 100,000 tpy of lead capacity.
