Eurasian Natural Resources Corp's (ENRC) head of marketing and sales Jim Cochrane is looking forward to strengthening the company's position in the growing number of markets the company operates in after 2007 saw record prices for chrome products and manganese ore. "With the markets where they are, we're looking to see how much faster we can do anything," Cochrane tells MB, pointing to the company's recent opening of its 62,500 tpy aluminium smelter in Pavlordar, Kazakhstan, and its acquisition of Russian ferro-chrome producer Serov as two examples of ENRC's growth strategy.
