Baosteel to import scrap for Chinese special steel mill

The international trading arm of Shanghai Baosteel Group, Baosteel Group International Trade Corp, and China's Jiangyin Xingcheng Steel Works have signed a one-year agreement to co-operate in procuring ferrous scrap. Baosteel will act as the agent for Jiangyin Xingcheng's imports of ferrous scrap, which will be used as raw material feed for special steel production. The Baosteel trading arm will procure material from various countries including the USA, Japan and Australia.
