Scrap steel conveyor installation - used in rolling mills to move plate shaped scrap from and upper floor to a lower level or vice=versa

Installation to pick up and transport of material from one floor to another floor lying above or below used especially for plate shaped scrap in a rolling mill. The installation consists of a lifting device with a pickup container which can firstly be moved vertically up and down and secondly swivelled in a parallel direction, suitable to receive the material to be transported from an upper floor such as an upper conveyor band and to transfer it to a supply point located next to the lifting device on a lower floor or to lower conveyor installation. The installation can also be used to move the material in the opposite direction i.e. from a lower to an upper floor.
