摘要

Biodegradable polymers,particularly poly(lactic acid) (PLA),have become important industrial commodities as well as a focus of research efforts aimed at developing more selective polymerization catalysts.One approach that has been successful in controlling the chain length and stereochemistry of PLA is the metal alkoxide-initiated ROP of the cyclic condensed dimer of lactic acid (LA).
