Validation, lotting, testing procedures discussed at NAMP conference

USDA has a long to-do list, including the release of a second draft guidance on HACCP validation, a possible revision to the N-60 testing method and perhaps including non-0157 serotypes of E. coli into its regulatory sampling program.At this point is no one knows when to expect any of these things to happen, but it's worth preparing for those changes now, say three persons who attended the North American Meat Processors Association's annual E. coli conference in Chicago, Aug. 17-18.
