Test procedure and test device for functional validation of optical detection systems

A test procedure for functional validation of optical detection systems is proposed. In the first stage, only at least one active optical sensor element is positioned and stimulated in the optical detection system, and the kinematics of the active optical sensor element are determined. Alternatively, in the first stage, only at least one lens is positioned in the optical detection system and is stimulated, and the kinematics of the lens are determined. In the second stage, both active optical sensor element and associated lens are positioned and stimulated and the kinetics of the optical detection system is determined.A test device for functional validation of optical detection systems is also proposed.
