USDA considers partial deregulation of Roundup Ready sugarbeets

USDA announced on Wednesday it is considering a partial deregulation of Roundup Ready sugarbeets in response to last month's court decision banning further planting of the transgenic variety. Partial deregulation would enable sugarbeet growers to plant the transgenic crop variety on schedule next spring.
