Global urea producers look to India for support, again

Unlike last week, Brazilian purchasing of urea has been insufficient to halt the slide in global urea values, and further downward corrections were necessary for producers to secure a share of the limited demand for July as shipments to STC against sales in the May 19 tender completed. Suppliers into the US faced sailing through rough waters as barge-values slid a little lower than even some market bears suggested. However, some fundamentals became a little more clear by the end of the week.
