Thailand: Imports up sharply in August

August arrivals of urea from outside sources a shade above 400,000 mt were more than double the August 2015 volume and also well ahead of August 2014. Saudi Arabia accounted for 201,000 mt, up from 70,000 mt, Qatar was up 90% to 84,000 mt, Kuwait ahead 70% to 39,000 mt, and Malaysia up 85% to 36,000 mt while Oman (19,000 mt) and Bangladesh (15,500 mt) were up from zero.
