Spain: Majority of ammonia sourced from Algeria

Spain imported 42,004 mt ammonia in May 2016, a rise of 15% year-on-year, according to IHS Global Trade Atlas. Total offtake for the January-May 2016 period stood at 154,378 mt, a decline of 21% on the same period the previous year. Spain sourced the vast majority of its ammonia during the first five months of this year from Algeria at 144,877 mt, a slight decrease of 2%.
