Russia: Urea exports through July up 39%

Russian exports of urea from January through July surged almost 39% to 3.59 million mt with Brazil (1.07 million mt) and Turkey (278,000 mt) up by 68% and 118%, respectively. EuroChem exports via the Swiss office of 276,000 mt were registered as destined for Switzerland, but the actual destinations were obviously different. Deliveries to Ukraine of 170,000 mt were up by 44% while the US (151,000 mt) and Germany (134,000 mt) dropped by 53% and 29%. Mexico was up 11% to 109,000 mt and Italy doubled to 97,000 mt.
