France: Urea imports up 43% in July

French importers took delivery of 78,000 mt urea in July 2016, an increase of 42.6% on July 2015. Algeria maintained the lead at 33,000 mt, up by 67% while Dutch arrivals were down 41% to 11,000 mt. The July volume lifted the January-July total marginally above 1 million mt, up by 28% on 2015, and largely in line with the 2014 total. Algerian arrivals were up 17% to 245,000 mt and Egypt recaptured the number two spot with 219,000 mt, up from 29,000 mt in 2015.
