China: New DAP sales in $302-305/mt range

Chinese producers are still offering DAP prices above $305/mt FOB despite limited demand. Quantum is rumoured to have purchased a 25,000 mt DAP cargo at $303-305/mt FOB from China, for a possible prompt sale to Pakistan's Jaffer Bros/Agven at $320/mt CFR, although this has yet to be confirmed. Multiple sources report new sales of 3-6,000 mt DAP to Vietnam in the $302-305/mt FOB range. One source argued that purchases at the low end of this range were for off-spec DAP but this has not been confirmed.
