The commissioning of K+S’s new Legacy potash project in Saskatchewan is now underway, the German company said August 24. The Supervisory Board and Board of Executive Directors of K+S are currently visiting the mine site, where the completion of a processing facility and the creation of 54 caverns of depths of 1,500 metres continues. The construction of a railroad connection to ports at Vancouver is also proceeding.
