Germany: January urea imports up, exports down

German imports of urea in January 2016 of about 130,000 mt were up by 16.3% on January 2015, while exports of 72,500 mt were down by 3%. Russia took the lead as the largest supplier in January 2016, delivering 88,000 mt, and increase of 67.5%. Arrivals from the Netherlands were down 9% to 11,000 mt, Poland was down 23.5% to 9,800 mt, and Belarus was off by 24% to 7,000 mt. No imports were registered from Algeria in January 2016, down from 12,400 mt in January 2015.
