Spain: Small spot deals and January urea imports up

Spanish importers indicate having secured discounts of about $5/mt this week on last week's deal at $237/mt CIF, inclusive of 60-90 days credit, duty paid. Spain imported 106,000 mt urea in January 2016, up by 15.2% on January 2015. Algeria was in the lead with 23,200 mt, but this was down by 20% on the prior year.
