Europe: DAP imports down in West Europe

DAP imports into France, Ireland, Spain and the UK in the first five months of 2016 fell 17% year on year to 408,869 mt, according to the latest customs data via IHS Global Trade Atlas. France imported 200,934 mt DAP between January and May, down 9.7% on the same period 2015. Imports from Russia/Lithuania increased slightly to 105,107 mt from 103,923 mt, while imports from Tunisia increased to 40,167 mt from 14,647 mt. Imports from Morocco declined to 6,070 mt from 60,396 mt.
