India: Domestic offtake soars in 2015/16

During the full fertilizer year ending March 31, 2016, Indian inland sales of DAP reached a total 9.7 million mt, a 28% increase on the 2014/15 fertilizer year, according to new data from the Indian Department of Fertilizers. Indian inland sales of DAP reached 1.2 million mt in March, a significant increase from 623,000 mt in February 2016 and from 754,000 mt in March 2015.
