Producers of urea and traders holding long positions from prior purchases were less than pleased with price-developments as the week progressed, and had to face harsh realities in a market where 830,000 mt originally intended for shipment to India were searching for alternative homes. The drop in urea values was significant, but not yet in the category of an outright crash.
