Drought conditions and a seasonal slowdown in activity in Thailand and Vietnam limited DAP purchases in the first quarter and prices are now largely in line with offers to Pakistan. Sabic is understood to have offered DAP at $360/mt CFR or slightly lower for most Southeast Asian markets, while some Chinese producers have offered DAP as low as $350/mt CFR to Southeast Asian markets including Vietnam, according to traders.
