USA: Steady Q4 DAP/MAP production

Q4 US phosphate production held relatively steady, according to the latest producer data provided by The Fertilizer Institute. Total DAP/MAP output for the quarter was 1.15 million st (1.05 million mt) P2O5, bringing total US output for the first half of the US fertilizer year through December to 2.42 million st (2.2 million mt) P2O5, 2% lower than the prior year period. The October, November and December volumes reported as P2O5 were 394,000 st, 377,000 st and 384,000 st respectively.
