Indonesia: Kaltim scraps sales tender

Pupuk Kaltim elected to scrap the June 3 tender for the sale of 60,000 mt granular urea for June lifting from Bontang. The producer had set the reserve (minimum) price for the tonnage at $325/mt FOB, but failed to attract bids close to that number. The highest bid received was from CHS at $302/mt FOB, with FertComm second at $300/mt FOB. These were down on the single bid at $305/mt FOB received by Kaltim in the May 22 tender for the sale of 30,000 mt that was also scrapped.
