All urea prices except one fell in this week's Fertilizer Index with Urea (gran) FOB barge NOLA posting the largest decline. Urea at New Orleans slipped $7.50/st on the week to $332.75/st in the index, a decline of 2.3%. Urea (prilled) FOB China bulk/bagged fell $6.25/mt to $283.25/mt. The weakening euro, competition from Iran with additional shipments into Europe and a lack of Brazilian demand are contributing to the declines.
